Ex Works

Ex Works (EXW) means the buyer takes the goods at the seller’s premises and arranges onward transport and export formalities. In Turkish stone trade it is often written fabrika teslim. It is an Incoterm-style delivery basis, not a product finish.

Fob Incoterm

FOB (Free On Board) is the Incoterm where the seller delivers goods on board the vessel at the named port of shipment. In stone trade it is written FOB, F.O.B., or with a port (FOB Aliağa). Risk passes once goods are on board.

Payment Proof

Document confirming that a payment or bank transfer occurred. Used on quotes, contracts, and deal filters rather than as a finish label.

Proforma Invoice

Preliminary invoice issued before the final commercial invoice. Used on quotes, contracts, and deal filters rather than as a finish label.

Dap Incoterm

DAP (Delivered At Place) means the seller delivers goods ready for unloading at the named place. In stone trade it is used when door or named-place delivery is quoted. Duties and import clearance usually remain with the buyer.

Stone Sample

Representative stone piece for identification, testing, or evaluation. Used on quotes, contracts, and deal filters rather than as a finish label.

Dimension Stone

Dimension stone is natural stone cut and finished to specified sizes for construction and decoration (slabs, tiles, cut-to-size). Distinct from crushed aggregate stone.

Exterior Stone Cladding

Exterior stone cladding is natural-stone facing installed on a building façade or exterior wall. Specs cover thickness, fixings, finish, and weather exposure. Distinct from interior wall covering.

Cif Incoterm

CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight) is the Incoterm covering cost, insurance, and freight to the named destination port. Buyers receive a landed-port price; inland delivery after POD is separate. Common on stone export offers.

A mockup is a full-size sample assembly used to verify appearance, joints, and installation methods before production. Common for façades and large stone projects.

A bill of quantities (BOQ) itemizes stone elements and quantities for tenders or construction take-offs. Project document language, not a factory selection grade.
