What is “OT”?
English trade name for Open Top Container.
An open-top container has a removable roof for crane-loaded or oversized stone cargo. Used when dry vans cannot accept the packing method. Payloads and lashing rules still apply. In trade it also appears as open top (English), OT (English), 20' & 40' Open Top (English). Attested most in Spain.
